School activities
Every year Balla National School is involved with various initiatives and enters into competitions in both the sporting and non-sporting arenas.

ENROLMENT
If you would like to enrol your child, either as a Junior Infant for next September, or for entry during the school year (subject to availability) please complete the Enrolment form and return it to the school, together with a copy of your child(ren)’s birth certificate.
If possible, please return enrolment forms for September 2023 to the school as soon as possible in order to facilitate staff planning and appointments.
About Us
Balla National School is an 8 mainstream teacher school, situated close to the centre of the village of Balla, Co Mayo, Ireland. (See our Contact page for our exact location). We have over 200 pupils from a wide variety of backgrounds. There are also 9 Special Needs Assistants and our secretary on the staff.
